Teslin Tlingit Council (TTC) Burning Permits are required for the burning of waste wood or chippings on TTC Settlement Land. Permits are issued for a period of 14 days and are valid from 8am to dusk or 8pm, whichever is earlier. Permittees must have fire fighting tools at hand, be 18 years of age, and be aware of weather trends, as burning is not permitted at moderate, high or extreme danger ratings. Please note that permits are non transferable, and that the permittee must be present at the burn. To obtain a permit, please fill out the Burning Permit form above, and return it to the Lands and Resources Office, or fax it to 867-390-2116.
